• Account: Email, name/nickname, profile image (if provided), and authentication identifiers.
• Usage/Session: Timestamps, app usage events (e.g., recognition start/stop), device/browser metadata.
• Assist: Audio streams are transmitted for ASR/translation; optional glossary terms may be provided to improve accuracy.
• Evaluate: Uploaded recordings and derived transcripts/metrics to generate feedback reports.
• Practice: Text prompts, glossary terms, and generated audio/transcripts to create training material.
• Support: Emails or in‑app logs you choose to share (may include OS/browser info).

We do not sell your data.

4.1) Audio Processing and Third-Party Services

Important Notice: When using Sight-Terp services, your audio data is transmitted to third-party ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) providers for processing. Sight-Terp does not store, process, or retain your audio data on our servers. All audio processing is handled by external service providers.

Liability Disclaimer: By using Sight-Terp applications, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Audio data is transmitted to third-party ASR providers over encrypted connections
• Sight-Terp does not store or process your audio data
• Sight-Terp assumes no liability for the processing, storage, or handling of your audio data by third-party providers
• You use the service at your own risk regarding audio data transmission and processing
• Third-party providers' terms of service and privacy policies apply to your audio data

User Acceptance: By accessing and using Sight-Terp applications, you formally accept these terms and acknowledge that you understand the nature of audio data transmission to third-party services.

5) Cookies

• We use strictly necessary session cookies to maintain secure sessions and basic functionality.
• You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work without them.

6) Third‑Party Processing and Transfers

• For speech recognition, translation, or TTS we may transmit audio/text to trusted providers over encrypted connections solely to provide the service.
• Identity and access may be handled by an authentication provider (e.g., Auth0).
• Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs).

7) Data Storage Location and Security

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers. We apply technical and organizational measures to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

8) Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties except:

• Service providers acting on our behalf (processors) bound by contracts;
• When required by law;
• With your consent.

9) Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Session data and temporary processing inputs are deleted when no longer needed.

11) Children
